God’s Promises And Prophecies Are For All Who Call On His Name.

God The Father’s Promises Are His Word.

Jesus The Son Of God Is The Word.

Webster states:

“specifically the inspired declaration of divine will and purpose.”

The Bible reveals the author of the word of God.

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him. Without him, nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness hasn’t overcome  it. John 1:1-5  WEBU

In the book of John we are shown not only the person Of Jesus but His work.

This gospel was written “so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God.”

We learn here that God, Jesus and Holy Spirit are always at work.

Christ in Hebrew is the word Mashiach, or “Messiah.”

“Christ” comes from the Greek word Christos, meaning “anointed one” or “chosen one.”

Jesus, also known as the Divine Word, came into the world to be our Saving Word.

Jesus is revealing through His word who God is and how we can have a relationship with the Trinity.

Jesus’s Word is binding legal document. We read that He has made a covenant with us in the new Testament.

This covenant word works if we work the Word as God intended us to do.

Good News of Salvation

The word ‘gospel’ means “good news,” and the good news is that Jesus came to earth so we could see what God is like.

He lived a perfect life, died a terrible death, and rose again from the grave.

He did this to pay for the penalty of our sins ( because sin is death) so that you and I can have eternal life in his name.

When we believe this, repent, and receive him by faith, we will be saved (Romans 10:8-10)

The truth will be known everywhere, and every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess Jesus Christ is Lord (Phil 2:10-11).

Until that day, we fulfill the Great Commission and share the gospel with all who will hear.

Love is patient and is kind. Love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud,
doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil;
doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;
bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.
Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (Web 3)
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her,
26 that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,
27 that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing,
but that she should be holy and without defect. Ephesians 5:25-27 (Web 3)
28 Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.
29 For no man ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly,
30 because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones. Ephesians 5:28-30 (Web 3)
22 Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
23 For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body.
24 But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.
31 “For this cause a man will leave his father and mother and will be joined to his wife. Then the two will become one flesh.”
32 This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and the assembly.
33 Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband. Ephesians 5:31-33 (Web 3)
Mercies
19 For the people will dwell in Zion at Jerusalem. You will weep no more. He will surely be gracious to you at the voice of your cry.
When he hears you, he will answer you. Isaiah 30:19 (Web 3)
Patience
18 Therefore the LORD will wait, that he may be gracious to you; and therefore he will be exalted, that he may have mercy on you,
or the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all those who wait for him. Isaiah 30:18 (Web 3)
Sound Doctrine – Preach The Word
I command you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his Kingdom:
preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all patience and teaching. 2 Timothy 4:1-2 (Web 3)
15 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to the whole creation.  Mark 16:15 (Web 3)
15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts. Always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you,
with humility and fear, 16 having a good conscience. 1 Peter 3:15 (Web 3)
16 For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, because it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes,
for the Jew first, and also for the Greek. Romans 1:16 (Web 3)
13 For, “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” 14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed?
How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher? Romans 10:13-14 (Web 3)
For we don’t preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake,
seeing it is God who said, “Light will shine out of darkness,”
who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:5-6 (Web 3)
20 We are therefore ambassadors on behalf of Christ, as though God were entreating by us: we beg you on behalf of Christ,
be reconciled to God. 21 For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf,
so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:20-21 (Web 3)
For he says, “At an acceptable time I listened to you.
In a day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 6:2 (Web 3)
47 For so has the Lord commanded us, saying, ‘I have set you as a light for the Gentiles,
that you should bring salvation to the uttermost parts of the earth.’ ” Acts 13:47 (Web 3)
14 “You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can’t be hidden.
15 Neither do you light a lamp and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house.
16 Even so, let your light shine before men,
that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16 (Web 3)
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only born Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
17 For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him. John 3:16:17 (Web 3)
24 But these things don’t count; nor do I hold my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy,
and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to fully testify to the Good News of the grace of God. Acts 20:24 (Web 3)
37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest indeed is plentiful, but the laborers are few.
38 Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest.” Matthew 9:37-38 (Web 3)
47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name to all the nations,
beginning at Jerusalem. Luke 24:47 (Web 3)
Wisdom
15 From infancy,
you have known the holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 3:15 (Web 3)
16 Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness,
17 that each person who belongs to God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (Web 3)
6 That the fellowship of your faith may become effective in the knowledge of every good thing which is in us in Christ Jesus. Philemon 1:6 (Web 3)
